Lois Kidder started her real estate training at a young age, helping her family with listings, advertising and investment trusts in her uncle’s small brokerage in northern California. Soon she was remodeling her own homes to turn a profit and later applied her knowledge to a real estate investment trust in Atherton, California. Since the early 90’s, Lois has professionally used her real estate training in REO’s, property management, marketing and sales in California, Wyoming and Northern Nevada. She expanded her early education in real estate with management of commercial properties, including office buildings, small retail centers, mixed use buildings and investment properties. She also has managed multiple community associations and spent several years in new home sales and development.
Lois moved to Reno to be close to her two grown children and to enjoy the seasonal activities of our Reno community. With her main focus as Real Estate, when time allows her experiences include author, a cattle woman, a PADI certified diver & snorkeler, jewelry designer, an inveterate traveler and novice photographer. As an extension of her career, Lois is an active volunteer and fund raiser for community groups and holds the distinction of past president for many charitable organizations such as Peninsula Volunteers, the Junior Museum Guild, Professional Woman’s Council, the Career Action Center, the Women’s Council/Chamber of Commerce and Sister City delegate to Zhuhai, China.
With a broad knowledge of sales and management for homes and land behind her, she has a visionary eye for the changing trends in today’s real estate market. Lois believes that good real estate takes a small village of professionals, working in synch to help buyers acquire the property they want at the best price and value. Whether it’s a new home, investment property or a pup tent, her commitment is to provide professional insight and perspective for her customers and clients.
